Push to CRM
The functionality to push company data from Syfter to CRM is designed to streamline data management processes. This feature allows for the automatic transfer of key company details from the Syfter platform directly into CRM, thereby enhancing efficiency and data accuracy. The fields that can be integrated into your CRM are highly customisable. You can discuss further configuration possibilities with your Internal Admin or Product Manager who can relay this to your Filament Account Director.
Step-by-Step Guide:
- Head to “Companies Page”
- Press “All Companies”
- Navigate to Company profile
- Select “Push to CRM”
- Important fields you have flagged will auto-populate
- Fill in any required fields
- Press “Submit”
- Press “Push to CRM”
Pushing Multiple Entities to CRM
You can push multiple entities, such as Company Contacts, Addresses, and Funding Rounds, into your CRM.
For example, when selecting the Primary Contact group dropdown, you'll see a series of checkboxes for employees linked to the company profile. After choosing the desired individuals, a collapsed accordion will appear for each selected person.
You can expand these accordions to review and (permissions dependent) edit the content being pushed to your CRM.
If there are no contact details in the people table or no contacts showing in the “people widget, the contact information may not be previewed when you select “push to CRM.” This behaviour depends on your specific client configuration. The platform may be set up to make the Contact field optional, non-mandatory if no people data is available, or mandatory, in which case you'll need to add a contact before pushing the company.
Company Contacts is just one example of how selecting multiple entities works with the Push to CRM functionality. This configuration applies not only to Contacts but also to other fields like Addresses.
Your platform also allows for the automation of pre-selection of values for people/employee data and addresses. For example, the platform can pre-select employees where that person is defined as a Founding member, Board member, or Key Employee. Similarly, for addresses, the platform will prioritise Headquarters as the primary source. If no Headquarters addresses are available, it will attempt to use non-Headquarters addresses. The hierarchy of preselection generally follows this order:
- Priority source - Headquarters
- Next-priority source - Headquarters
- Priority source - Non-headquarters
- Next-priority source - Non-headquarters
In the event the conditions for the highest priority source aren’t met, your platform will then evaluate the next priority source until all options are exhausted.
Our standard setting prevents you from pushing a company into your CRM without a Recommendation. If the company has not been recommended yet, you'll be directed to create one and share it with your team before completing the push to your CRM. However, this requirement can be made optional depending on your platform configuration. For any questions or ideas, please contact your Account Director for more information.
