Financials sourced from Gain.pro are now converted to euros using Gain’s own exchange rate

Financials sourced from Gain.pro are now converted to euros using Gain’s own exchange rate, so the figures in Deal Engine match what you see in Gain.pro.

What’s changed

Until now, Deal Engine converted Gain.pro financials into euros using the Bank of England exchange rate for the day. Gain.pro uses its own rate, so on large values such as revenue the two platforms could show noticeably different numbers for the same company. Deal Engine now applies the rate supplied with each Gain.pro company record. This covers revenue, EBITDA, debt and other local-currency metrics.

What you’ll notice

EUR figures for Gain.pro-sourced companies now line up with Gain.pro. Some values may shift slightly compared with what you’ve seen in Deal Engine before. Companies that already report in euros are unaffected.
